I'm a huge fan of your blog, and your approach to this thing you do. I would imagine you don't consume lots of alcohol, but wanted to invite you to stop by the winery for a barrel tasting next time on your way through the desert. Please contact me to set something up. tim@azstronghold.com. I would say best of luck at Miwok, but i read this blog... you seem quite ready. You're getting a shorter distance because I live (and run from my doorstep) about 2.5-3mi from Chautauqua (depending on which route/streets I take). I often tack on a fair bit of barefoot down at Kittredge Fields at the ends of my runs, too.

TonyAntonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11148317903654491236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-451222917425507533.post-76365694125985457482010-04-25T21:43:39.826-06:002010-04-25T21:43:39.826-06:00Hey tony got any pictures or sites where we could ...Hey tony got any pictures or sites where we could check out those new nb'sAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-451222917425507533.post-2559127895093276312010-04-25T20:16:26.743-06:002010-04-25T20:16:26.743-06:00I say Miwok will be a "walk in the park"...I say Miwok will be a "walk in the park" for you. Thanks to your footprints I knew I was going in the correct direction. That's the first time I've cut over to Walker via Bison. The signs were kind of scary, but I figured I could dive into the woods if a car came. I did the Walker loop CCW and then over to Eldo, up old Mesa to Bear Canyon and back over Green. For some reason when I logged this run on Map-My-Run it comes out 5 or 6 miles shorter than your maps. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I figure it had to be a 30 mile loop starting/finishing from Chataqua.
-KraigAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-451222917425507533.post-36209030771128549232010-04-25T16:17:38.585-06:002010-04-25T16:17:38.585-06:00I’m glad your training over the last few months ha...I’m glad your training over the last few months has gone so great. Then you started running longer, and so did I. You got to a crazy amount of hours day after day (incredibly inspiring) and I got to my very meaningful 3 mile runs (that's a 5K and that's what I need to run in the short triathlons that I like to enjoy every chance I get). This was your last week of training, now you taper and race next week. Well, this was my last week of training, now I taper and race my first triathlon of the season next weekend. How crazy is that? I'm happy I can do this next weekend. And I'm happy you can do your thing next weekend too. May it be awesome for both of us.Pablo Rosasnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-451222917425507533.post-29261586388852058852010-04-25T14:11:20.085-06:002010-04-25T14:11:20.085-06:00Glad to see you are healthy again Tony!
